THE NEW BAMBOO "GOLD PHEASANT" SUMO!
What is SUMO? It's a Kendama XL, between the standard Kendama & the KAIJU (XXL), it's about 2x the size of a standard kendama!
And what is it for? It allows to change a little bit from the standard kendama, the different size generally makes us do different things, or simply try to reproduce everything we know how to do but with a different size kendama!
But above all, a bigger Kendama allows you to have bigger cups , a bigger tama , so it requires less precision and it makes a lot of tricks easier (even if it's a little heavier..) !
THE NEW "GOLD PHEASANT" SUMO:
Let's go back to this new SUMO that we have just received, which joins the family of SUMOS inspired by birds, each as beautiful as the other, and yes nature offers us magnificent things, so why not take inspiration from it!
This time, inspired by the beautiful Golden Pheasant (Gold Pheasant) , our good Peckou ( @peckou ) , the Frenchman who helps Sweets Kendamas to design the new Kendamas , has created a crazy design for us!
Always so colorful , we find a really classy tama with a very cool tracking ! And be careful... Little more with this SUMO which is the FIRST SUMO WITH A BAMBOO WOODEN KEN !
Bamboo is quite rare in Kendama, it is a light wood , which must be assembled in the form of a slat, which means that the assembly must be done to perfection for it to be solid! Otherwise the handle comes off, that's why we don't do it often, but it's still one of the most stylish woods !
So here we are with a really classy model, with a bamboo wood handle, with a beech tama, the perfect combo for the stalls !
In short, a Kendama XL both classy & really cool to play!
